VOWER
VOWER is the new band of five friends that have earned their stripes in bands like Toska, Palm Reader and Black Peaks. This new project is the culmination of all of their experiences. It results in a fresh, balanced sound in which the passion of decades of experience can be heard. Expect progressive post hardcore metal with a lot of other influences.
First EP “Apricity” consists of four clever cuts that clearly showcase what the British band has to offer. These are loud songs that are still pleasant on the ears, with fierce hooks and crystal-clear vocals. That the band was asked by Karnivool to support them on their last tour shouldn’t come as a surprise. The first album is on the way and that’s as good an excuse as any to stop by in Nijmegen for their own headline tour. The song ‘Satellites’ is available already, making us yearn for more! VOWER is recommended for fans of the aforementioned acts, but also of bands like Gojira, The Ocean, Periphery, Mastodon and Haken.
