Árstíðir
Within six months after their debut album came out, Iceland band Árstíðir topped the charts in their country. Their music transcends genres and styles, often described as classically-inspired indie and folk rock.
The core of their music is the chemistry between its members Daniel, Gunnar and Ragnar and their shared passion for vocal harmonies. They write pop songs with catchy refrains, embodied through soft and sometimes surprising arrangements. The Iceland band is never afraid of experimenting and have collaborated in the past with artists like Ólafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm, made two albums with Iceland’s most prominent songwriter Magnús Þór Sigmundsson, and worked with Anneke van Giersbergen, with whom Árstíðir made an album in 2016 and which they took to Dutch theatres.
The mix of their unique, organic sound and electronic elements make us look forward to hearing the new album and for this concert!
