Robin Borneman
In January, Robin Borneman is coming back to Doornroosje for the release of a brand-new EP! Robin has exchanged his acoustic guitar for an electric one. This change is going to set the tone for a interesting night with a new sound.
In 2024, Borneman released his latest album “Flora”: an album full of small, extremely personal folk songs. This album was a bit of a surprise to him as well. “I imagined it to have a much bigger sound, but during the recording process I realized I wasn’t really ready for that yet. I wasn’t done yet with my folk phase at that point. I’ve closed that chapter for good now though and now it’s time to cut loose!”
During this EP release, Robin’s new songs will be performed live for the first time. Borneman promises to show a side of him that no one has seen of him on stage – or, to be more precise, heard of him. This is a side that is closer to the sound of bands like Muse, The War on Drugs and Radiohead. During this first new show, Robin will kick off the second phase of his career in music.
