Min Taka shares her experiences with intriguing music that moves in between indie, drum ‘n bass, synth- and hyper pop. With roots in both Istanbul and Rotterdam, she creates a unique mix of these styles, exploring themes like identity, femininity and connection.
The name “Min Taka” is based on the myths of vanishing worlds, which is a good representation of the sonic universe of the singer. That universe expands from intimate and soft sounds to intense, electronic commotion.
2025 has been a great year for Min Taka. After a rousing performance at Noorderslag in Groningen, and impressive shows at festivals like Down the Rabbit Hole and our own Valkhof Festival, she is now coming back to Nijmegen with a headlining show in Merleyn.
