Witch Fever
Witch Fever, a young band from Manchester, have managed to put themselves on the map with their unique take on raw doom punk, grunge and post-punk.
The album “Congregation” from 2022 was a fiery, ruthless punk explosion that lashed out at religion, the patriarchy and those at the top of society abusing power. Their second and latest album “FEVEREATEN” also bursts at the seams with anger and emotion. Themes like feminism, religious trauma and queer empowerment are at the core of it once again. This results in songs that are directly connected to the current zeitgeist of injustice and inequality. This pent-up anger is channelled into fiery, raw punk that works really well on the stage.
Witch Fever is highly recommended to fans of Die Spitz, SPRINTS, Nova Twins and Bob Vylan.
