Polyphonic
Polyphonic is on a mission to prove that drum & bass can be for anyone. This 10-piece collective from The Netherlands combines fast-paced breakbeats, heavy bass lines and screaming guitars with live violin, trumpet, trombone, piano and vocals. Their innovative covers, which include works from Chase & Status, Pendulum, Mozart, The Weeknd, Avicii and Eminem, have reached millions of people through social media.
Last year, Polyphonic was responsible for the first mosh pit ever on a classical music festival. This proves that everyone can – and should be able to – go all out on music. In their new show, Polyphonic will revisit their best songs and offer brand new music with “Hivemind”, their debut record that incorporates influences from Sigma, Chase & Status, Bach and Pink Floyd, dipping into all kinds of genres from Latin to Metal. Expect a colourful show with familiar songs in a new light and genre combinations that you never expected.
