Gavran

Gavran is known for their atmospheric and cathartic sound, one with which they explore themes like fear, doubt and misery. After a few years of uncertainty, the post-doom band Gavran has finally retuned with “The One Who Propels”, the successor of their emotional previous album “Indistinct Beacon”, that was released through dunk!records. The band is back to being a quartet. For this new album, they collaborated with Marius Prins (Throwing Bricks) and Tim de Gieter (Amenra, Doodseskader, etc), which resulted in a massive wall of sound. The band takes inspiration from many adjacent genres, seamlessly combining elements from doom, sludge, shoegaze and post-rock. Their performance at Soulcrusher was a taste of things to come. And now that time has come!

Gavran will bring two special guests. Lijkschouwer, also from Rotterdam, offers a mix of styles that are somewhere in between black, death and sludge. The band recently released their new album “All What Did the Blade Reveal”. Hezurra, from the South, offers blackened doom.
