Blood Red Shoes
Rock duo Blood Red Shoes from Brighton is coming back to Nijmegen! They once gave an impressive performance in the old Doornroosje, and now there back for more. With new music on the way and a kinetic live show, this is going to be another Manic Monday with Blood Red Shoes.
The band, which consists of Laura-Mary Carter and Steven Ansell, released their debut album “Box of Secrets” in 2008. The album made an immediate impression and the band managed to win over audiences with their live shows. Blood Red Shoes quickly turned into fan favourites in pop venues and at festivals throughout Europe. Throughout the years, the band has played over 1400 live shows and released six albums, with “Ghost on Tape” as their most recent one in 2023.
In 2026, the band is going to release their first new music in four years, which they wrote, produced and mixed on their own. Blood Red Shoes is back on the road with their 20-year anniversary show in 2024. Synthesizers, dark, electronic sounds and guitar riffs blast from the stage and the band never lost sight of their punk rock roots.
