Following a successful reunion tour in 2019, The Fatal Flowers are returning in 2026 for a short club tour and a new EP, “Seven Days To Remember”. Seven shows in seven days – that is how the Amsterdam-based guitar band will be touring this autumn, including a performance at Doornroosje!
The Fatal Flowers rarely play at music venues these days, but the 40th anniversary of their 1986 debut album, “Younger Days” – the record that marked their major breakthrough – is prompting a comeback. They made a name for themselves with this record and then continued to enjoy success with their energetic, melodic rock, drawing influences from the contemporary Paisley Underground scene as well as the 1970s New York punk and new wave scenes and English pub rock.
Driven by ambition and hard work, they ventured abroad to record albums with renowned producers such as Craig Leon (Blondie), Vic Maile (Dr. Feelgood and Motörhead), and Bowie guitarist Mick Ronson. In 1987, they performed at Pinkpop – a festival that, at the time, featured only one Dutch band per year- and in 1990, they appeared on the acclaimed ZDF program Rockpalast, the very same year they decided to call it quits.
