A Place To Bury Strangers
A Place to Bury Strangers offers a chaotic, raw mix of noise, kraut rock, shoegaze, post punk and avantgarde psychedelia. Earlier this year, the New Yorkers played a rousing set in a sold-out Doornroosje. They are coming back now for an encore.
The band has had a reputation for being the loudest band in New York even before the release of their debut album. In 2024, they released their seventh album “Synthesizer”, which further explores the typical APTBS sound with a special role for a hand-made synthesizer.
APTBS is always impressive live on stage. With synths, bass and guitar, they successfully manage to translate the manic nature of their studio work to the stage in a kind of dystopian trip. The result is a highly inflammable show ready to explode.
