Alela Diane

The American folk artist Alela Diane broke through with debut album “The Pirate’s Gospel”, an album with mesmerizing “camp fire gospel”, carried by a warm voice. With subtle guitar playing, piano sounds, and mantra-like repetition there’s a resulting mix of folk, gospel and bluesy songs. This spring, Alela Diane is going to release a new album called “Who’s Keeping Time?”. This is the seventh album of the Portland-based musician which has her going back to her roots and the sounds of her successful debut album.
