Astrosaur
Astrosaur uses riffs as a means to take you to another dimension. The Norwegian band combines elements from different genres like post-rock, doom metal, psychedelic rock and progressive metal.
The power trio, which operates in the heavy psych rock and post metal scene, started their mission in 2017 with their debut album “Fade In // Space Out”. With their third album “Portals” they explored, in an extensive and convincing manner, the concept of endlessness with ethereal guitar lines and powerful grooves.
In Astrosaur, Norwegian session guitarist (Eirik Haugestad Kråkenes (who has been on stage with Leprous and Ihsahn) is accompanied by bassist Steinar Glas (known for his work with Einar Stray Orchestra) and drummer Jonatan Eikum (tied to Taiga Woods). Astrosaur has demonstrated their excellent live skills at festivals like Complexity Fest, Vacuum Fest, Portals Festival and A Colossal Weekend, as well as on tours with Agent Fresco, Leprous and Kvelertak.
