Autechre
Legendary electro duo Autechre consists of Sean Booth and Rob Brown. For decades, the duo has been among the most innovative acts within the experimental, electronic music scene. Since their Warp Records debut came out in the early nineties, Autechre has developed a unique sound, somewhere in between abstract rhythms and complex structures, while stile having a refined sound.
They have made a name for themselves in the (then still upcoming) IDM scene with early records like “Incunabula” and “Amber”. The release of “Tri Repetae”, “Confield” and a large number of NTS Sessions established them more firmly. Their music is often described as an intense, ever-moving and carefully built-up game of rhythms, complex structures and unexpected twists.
The live shows of Autechre are far from normal; they are known for their eccentric live performances. So this show in Doornroosje will take place in a completely dark room, putting all of the focus on the sound.
