Dario Bassolino is a musician, DJ and producer from sunny Naples. Together with his live band, he is able to fuse elements from disco, funk, soul, fusion and jazz into a danceable whole in an organic manner.
With his eclectic taste and genre-defying capacities, Bassolino has worked as a producer for and as a musician with alt-R&B artist LNDFK and jazz funk legend Nicola Conte. Bassolino finds inspiration in the works of Brazilian funk legends Hermeto Pascoal and Airto Moreira, as well as by their Italian peers. Using these influences, he created a live show with an organic feel that is carried by jazz, funk and disco improvisation.
