From Havana, Cuba to our own Havana on the banks of De Waal: Buena Vista All Stars are coming to De Vereeniging Nijmegen on Wednesday 7 May. The most legendary Cuban musicians take you on an unforgettable musical journey to their beautiful island. This project includes former member of Buena Vista Social Club Barbarito Torres, front man of BVSC Demetrio Muñiz and trumpetist Manuel Machado.
Buena Vista All Stars present a night full of nostalgic, yet timeless classics. They offer a combination of music, stories and traditions in a mesmerizing program entitled “Una noche en La Habana”, in other words a Night in Habana. Along with eleven All-Star Cuban musicians, they keep the rich Cuban tradition alive. Expect a night full of catchy rhythms, nostalgic classics and engaging solos.
