South-Wales band Casey is not easy to describe. The band is capable of blending post-hardcore, melodic hardcore, shoegaze and screamo into a single sound of their own.
But no matter how loud the guitars, bass and drums pound, alternating between dreamy melodies and raw, intense riffs, it is the emotional delivery of front man Tom Weaver that steals the show in particular. He pours his soul into every single song. This makes Casey into a must-see live band. Their performances are known for their energy and sincerity. Their excellent latest album “How to Disappear”, from 2024, shouldn’t be taken literally; a new album is already in the works. Recommended to fans of acts like Touché Amoré, Counterparts and Being As an Ocean.
