Children of Zeus
The journey of Children of Zeus started with a shared passion for Manchester pirate radio during the nineties. The sounds of hip-hop, beats, garage, bass, R&B and soul are at the core of a collaboration between Tyler Daley and Konny Kon. After the release of their debut album “Travel Light” in 2018, Daley and Kon toured the UK, Europe, Australia and South-Africa for two years.
Children of Zeus took their time for their sound to evolve live on stage before recording anything new. The successor “Balance” is an album with future classics, blending hip-hop, neo-soul, and R&B. Kony’s laidback flow is a perfect match to Tyler’s recognizable vocals, all laid down on a set of bass-heavy back drops and smooth synth lines. They took the blueprint of their debut and evolved this to a deeper, more refined sound. Most of the album was produced by the duo, although it also features the return of Grammy winner Beat Butcha. Butcha collaborated with Jay Z, Beyoncé, Nipsey Hussle and Griselda in the past.
