British musician and producer Chris Clark is a pioneer in the field of soundtracks and electronic music. He has been active for 20 years now and he has released music through the renowned label Warp Records, which is also the home to acts like Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Flying Lotus and Squid.
His first to last studio album “Playground in a Lake” actually came out through German classical label Deutsche Grammophon, label of artists like Hania Rani and Nils Frahm.
His tenth album “Sus Dog” is coming out soon, which is going to be the first one to feature his voice as an instrument. It’s also going to be his first release on his own label Throttle Records. The album is the result of a close collaboration with his friend Thom Yorke, who also co-produced the album. Yorke also takes care of the lead vocals and the bass guitar on the song ‘Medicine’. Other contributions include those from Richard Spaven (drums), Anika Henderson (vocals) and Rakhi Singh (vocals). Once again Chris Clark manages to reinvent himself musically. He keeps pushing boundaries while being very prolific as well.
