American aggrotech/EBM band Combichrist has never had any trouble coming up with catchy titles; just look at albums like “Everybody Hates You” and “What the Fuck Is Wrong With You People?”. Their music is equally straightforward: hard as nails, no bars hold industrial metal with thick layers of electronics and heavy beats.
The band has released nine albums so far and have been on tour with Rammstein in the past. They have quite the live reputation as well! Tonight, they are going to bring a special electronic old school set to Merleyn, playing the best songs of albums like “The Joy of Gunz” and “Everybody Hates You”. And brand-new future classic ‘Modern Demon’ is bound to be included as well!
Behind the black horror masks of Priest are Mercury, Salt and Sulfur. The first two have a history in the band Ghost, but with Priest they embrace the vibes and sound of electro and synth-wave from the 80s and 90s. They add some exciting modern technological tricks to the mix as well, which makes them a perfect support act tonight.
