If you wanted to capture the essence of Berlin, the music of CURSES might be what you’re looking for. The duo from the German capital combines melancholy, eighties inspired pop, romantic post-punk and the DIY energy of early EBM.
They’re also extremely stylish. Paris fashion brand Saint Laurent released a limited edition LP of their work and their music also features in campaigns of Dior and Raf Simons/Calvin Klein. CURSES performs as a duo during live shows: Luca Venezia on guitar and vocals and Dame Bonnett on bass and digital drums. Each performance is unique and oozes with early kraut and extended soundscapes. A new album is on the way and has the same spooky CURSES guitar and mesmerizing vocals that we’ve come to expect from them.
Corpo Collective will act as a host with their mix of EBM, Italo, electro, house and everything in between. Corpo is a DJ-collective that consists of Mats van Doorn, Siem Bootsma and Thijs Moors.
