Danny Vera is no longer just that charming Zeeuw in a tight suit with a pompadour, known for his rock ‘n roll songs. Nor is he a ‘one hit wonder’ with a number one hit in the Top 2000. Or that one artist that broke through after 25 years of grinding because of his seat at the table in a football panel show. He is all that – but much, much more too.
Nowadays, Danny Vera is a respected artist that has been plotting his own course for years. He is still releasing music on his own terms. In the past few years, he has performed on all kinds of stages: solo in the intimate Oostkerk in Middelburg, with a full band in theatres, smack in the middle of Het Klokgebouw for his “Beggin’ for Trouble” tour, and at festivals like Pinkpop, Ribs & Blues and Concert At Sea. And let’s not forget a sold-out show at the Ziggodome last year with a full orchestra, and this fall in Ahoy with “Vera’s Nightclub”.
In the spring of 2026, Danny is returning to pop venues with his new The Way Home Tour.
He recently released the single ‘Morning Dawns Again’, a hopeful, up-tempo track that marks a new chapter in his blossoming career. It is the first teaser to his upcoming album “The Way Home”, which will come out in the fall of 2025. Expect a night full of new music and well-known classics. Exactly what you’d expect from a Danny Vera show.
