De Mis + Tompuss
Winners of the 035-Popprijs and De Roos van Nijmegen 2026, playing no fewer than three shows at the Valkhof Festival, De Mis have been firing on all cylinders in 2026. With a sharp tongue, De Mis drops a bombshell on the Dutch-language (post-)punk landscape, aiming to build a better world from the ashes. In February, they will appear at Merleyn alongside Nijmegen-based drag performer Tompuss.
In an ideal world, De Mis would form the parliament. A resounding coalition: manic at times, always intense, razor-sharp, yet capable of fostering connection. No more fear of cycling home alone or processing your emotions; the war industry is bankrupt, and every person and child is welcome. De Mis moves you to tears in the mosh pit and invites contemplation while headbanging.
In the autumn, De Mis will tour the Netherlands to promote their debut EP, “Alles wat ik niet ken is eng” (“Everything I Don’t Know Is Scary”), announced for February 2027.
Tonight, they are joined by drag performer Tompuss. Known for her tight lip-syncs, Tompuss knows exactly how to command a stage. She draws inspiration from pop culture and artists such as Lady Gaga, Charli xcx, and Brooke Candy. With a generous dose of sex appeal, camp, humour, and glamour, she delivers a captivating show you won’t soon forget.
