Australian group Delivery blends fierce post punk with garage rock. With shared vocal duties, screeching synths and edgy guitar riffs, Delivery finds a balance that results in a restless punk explosion.
The band was founded during the lockdown by Rebecca Allan and James Lynch. They made their debut in 2021 with the EP “Yes We Do”, followed a year later by their album “Forever Giving Handshakes”. The album received a lot of praise was hailed as “one of the best Australian punk albums of the year”. Not much of a surprise, as the members of Delivery have earned their stripes in a staggering number of other bands, which include Gutter Girls, Blonde Revolver, Soursob, The Vacant Smiles and House Deposit.
The Melbourne band have delivered yet another great cut with new single ‘Only a Fool’. They have also announced a name and a date for their second album: “Force Majeure” will come out January 17 2025 through Heavenly Recordings. The band will perform in Nijmegen to promote this new release.
