Dinosaur Pile-Up from Leeds is known for their turbulent mix of grunge, punk and alternative rock, drenched with raw energy and a nod to the nineties.

Front man Matt Bigland has an honest and direct writing style, sharp guitar riffs, and a healthy dose of playful self-deprecation. Their breakthrough album “Celebrity Mansions” from 2019 brought melody and a powerful sound together, leading to tours with bands like Weezer and Foo Fighters. Their latest album “I’ve Felt Better” is in similar vein and is full of pure, uncomplicated rock songs with a slight anarchist edge to them. Live on stage, the band offers pure energy and irresistible chaos, which is a reminder that guitar music can still be dangerous and extremely fun.

Equally British band snake eyes combines the gritty charm of grunge with the melodic force of Britpop and the directness of modern garage punk. Led by singer-guitarist Jim Heffy, the Brighton band goes all-in on edgy songs, sharp hooks and honest, melancholy lyrics that give the band a clear sound of their own. And it is appreciated as well, judging by the renowned festivals that have booked this band in the past, including Down the Rabbit Hole.
