DOPE LEMON
The relaxed slacker rock of Demon Lemon has a surprising artist behind it: the Australian musician and singer-songwriter Angus Stone, better known as half of indie folk duo Angus & Julia Stone.
Under the name Dope Lemon, he explores his creative and more psychedelic preferences, leading to addictively juicy, hypnotizing songs like ‘Hey You’ and ‘Pink Cadillac’. Dope Lemon makes ideal music for a summer day, which is also clear when listening to the new album “Golden Wolf” which comes out 9 May. This album is preceded by single ‘Golden Wolf’ in which Angus returns to his old sound. The recognizable, melancholy melodies and upbeat guitars will cast a big smile on your face and make you want to dance. Dope Lemon can drag his audience in a whirl of trippy, psychedelic yet summery sound, carried by the warm vocals of Angus Stone.
