For I Am King
After more than a decade, a number of hard-hitting albums and hundreds of shows world-wide, the story of For I Am King is finally coming to a close. What started off as a wild idea among friends, turned into a band that conquered the international metal scene with their uncompromising energy, high skills and pure passion. It is time to say goodbye now though, albeit on their own terms, at the peak of their powers and with gratitude towards their fans.
The Amsterdam-based metal band releases their long-awaited third album “CROWN” in 2023, which was the highlight of a decade full of heavy riffs, hypnotizing melodies and the powerful, unique vocals of front woman Alma Alizadeh. The album followed after much-praised records “Daemons” (2016) and “I” (2018) and once again demonstrated why For I Am King is such a highly revered name within the modern metal scene. The time has come to close out this chapter though. The band is saying goodbye with a number of farewell shows. Don’t expect them to be introspective, though. These are going to be loud and full of passion, one last, unforgettable explosion of everything this band stands for!
