Instrumental brass band machine Gallowstreet is coming back to Doornroosje! The eight-piece Amsterdam collective has a new album on the way in the fall of 2026 which is expected to redefine what a brass band can sound like. In preparation to the release, Gallowstreet is going to release an EP in the spring.
The eclectic mix of brass with electro, jazz dance, hip hop and house resulted in many sold-out shows and packed festival audiences all over the world. Basically, they are in the Premier League of international brass bands. They have been around for over 13 years with 5 albums to date with songs on them that are being covered by others worldwide. Gallowstreet are experts at performing in a way that overwhelms audiences everywhere.
Next to home country The Netherlands, they count France as their second home, as they managed to sell out the legendary New Morning in Paris twice already. After their show at the prestigious Transmusicales, an internally renowned festival, Gallowstreet was invited for a KEXP live session in March. KEXP sessions are widely regarded by the music industry as a great hub for the discovery of new talent.
