GHØSTKID is the metalcore project fronted by Sebastian “Sushi” Biesler, former front man of the electronicore band Electric Callboy. With GHØSTKID, he shifts gears to something darker, both musically and lyrically.
Following the self-titled debut album from 2020, GHØSTKID released the follow-up, “Hollywood Suicide”, in March 2024. This was a much rawer record featuring an explosive, in-your-face mix of metal, industrial, goth, and pop. The tracks are loaded with personal themes like inner struggle, mental health, and self-expression, wrapped in an aggressive yet accessible sound. Songs like the title track, ‘Heavy Rain’, and ‘Ugly’ in particular, will leave your speakers (and Biesler’s vocal cords) smoking. New work is on the way.
