Green Milk From The Planet Orange, a band from Tokyo, is an experimental trio with roots in grind core. Nowadays, they focus on boundary-pushing psych prog with influences from jazz. Their performance at Sonic Whip last year was really good. We are happy to welcome them back to Nijmegen, this time for a show in Merleyn.
The band was founded at the start of the century. They have a punk mindset that bleeds into their complex, instrumental compositions, something that really comes into bloom during live performances. During the engaging, creative jams that go all over the place, the band members often switch their seated positions for more active ones. Green Milk From The Planet Orange is a one-of-a-kind band and it is no surprise they hail from Japan, home to a lot of truly unique acts that think outside of the box.
