With a clear love for bands like Joy Division and Interpol, IST IST may not be breaking new ground, they are one of the most exciting bands within the genre.
That this band hails from Manchester may not be a coincidence: the grey harbor town was the base of operations of the legendary label Factory Records, after all. In their home country they have been a huge draw ever since their latest album “The Art of Lying” stormed the British charts. In 2023 the band released their long-awaited third album “Protagonists”.
