Live music on the beloved Stadseiland at Veur-Live! Once again this year, Stadseiland Stek and Doornroosje are joining forces during the Vierdaagsefeesten, allowing you to enjoy free live music at a lovely spot by the water from Saturday, July 18 to Friday, July 24.
Jungle by Night at Veur-Live!
Jungle by Night returns to the stage with new music. These exclusive try-out shows mark the beginning of a new chapter for the Amsterdam-based band and offer a first glimpse of what is to come. The group plays a mix of analog dance music, nu-disco, krautrock, 70s funk, and 80s electro. A new album will be released at the end of this year, on which the band draws inspiration from acts such as Talking Heads, Air, and Kraftwerk.
Since their first release in 2010, many albums, EPs, and hundreds of performances have followed both at home and abroad: from Amsterdam to Japan. Their live shows invite you to travel along on highly danceable grooves and take a deep dive into their musical landscape: a colorful world full of synthesizers, brass, drums, bass, guitar, and percussion.
