Music duo King Hannah consists of Hannah Merrick and Craig Whittle. They met working at a local bar in Liverpool and started playing music together. This resulted almost immediately in the six-minute song ‘Crème Brûlée’. This was quickly followed by their first EP “Tell Me Your Mind and I’ll Tell You Mine”, on which Hannah’s mesmerizing voice is encircling Craig’s smoky guitars.
Their songs sound moody, hypnotizing and engaging. They are inspired by the early works of PJ Harvey and Portishead, and with “I’m Not Sorry, I Was Just Being Me” they released a very well-received debut. Highly recommended to fans of Silverbacks, Wet Leg, Widowspeak and Sprints.
