Together, L.A. Sagne and FEMME FUGAZI form a terrific double bill at Waalhalla.
L.A. Sagne
The Amsterdam punk band L.A. Sagne emerged somewhere between sweaty shows, shared kitchen tables, and side jobs. Four friends and a stack of demos on a crashing computer grew into a rock-solid band with music as a lifeline in lean times. Their debut album “Good Company” is exactly that: the hand that pulls you into the mosh pit and helps you up when you fall.
FEMME FUGAZI
Wandering between the boundaries of a manic episode and cathartic obsession, where reverbing post-punk and frantic garage-punk come together in a Danse Macabre of contradictions; FEMME FUGAZI is the result of a crime of passion committed by the love child of Anne Clark and Amyl and the Sniffers. The band has been playing together since 2022 and has already managed to impress many people in a short space of time. For instance, they became the second-most booked band of the Popronde (2023), performed on international stages in Paris, Antwerp, and Charleroi, among others, supported (inter)national acts such as MODEL/ACTRIZ and Claw Boys Claw, and released their debut EP “Look At You” on November 9, 2024.
