Ladaniva

The band combines traditional music from Armenia, Russia and the Balkan with influences from South-America and Africa, as well as genres like jazz, reggae and folk. The core of the band consists of charismatic front woman and singer Jacqueline Baghdasaryan and the French multi-instrumentalist Louis Thomas.

Ladaniva gained instant world-fame with the single ‘Vay aman’, which characterizes their refreshing style and approach. During the Pandemic the band did a special performance at Eurosonic Noorderslag for the digital edition (in collaboration with the NPS, Dutch Public Television), but now they’re finally here in the flesh for a Dutch show during Stevenskerk Live!
