This six-piece instrumental band hails from Genève, although it was formed in London, back when keyboardist Sebastien Bui and guitarist Stefan Lilov were still students. They recorded some demos and once back home in Switzerland, they asked the others to join and L’Éclair was born.
In June, new album “CLOUD DRIFTER” came out through refined label Innovative Leisure. On it, L’Éclair show their love for constant innovation and renewal in their sound. It is still firmly rooted in their own, unique mix of organic grooves, electronic rhythms, cosmic sounds and space disco.
Their debut album “Cruise Control” came out in 2017, which was followed by “Polymood”. The latter was recorded with studio wizard, producer and musician Jasper Geluk, who collaborated before with Altin Gün, Jacco Gardner and Allah Las. This successful record resulted in a European tour and a number of festival shows, which led to an ever-growing fanbase.
