Luca Fogale
Let yourself be touched by the soulful melodies and hard-hitting lyrics of Luca Fogale. This singer-songwriter from British Columbia has won the hearts of many with his honest and soul-cleansing songs. He toured all over the world, including through Canada, the US, Europe, Australia and Japan, and even collaborated with acts like Half Moon Run, Serena Ryder and Josh Ritter.
With a friendly fragility and using warm melodies, the Canadian sings about what’s on his mind. On the follow-up album to his debut “Safety”, “Nothing Is List”, Fogale expands on his sound pallet; acoustic guitar and piano are now backed by synths, plus there are hints of orchestras and arrangements straight out of seventies soft rock, which gives it a cinematic feel. In 2023, this prolific musician released his third album “Where the Light Calls” and in 2025 he is going to come with new work. By combining the energy of Coldplay with the intimacy of Bon Iver, the Canadian singer-songwriter managed to get nominated twice for the JUNO Awards (the Canadian equivalent to the Grammy’s).
Luca has toured with Dermot Kennedy and Brett Eldridge in the past. He also played on Dotan’s 7 Layers series and he recently supported Dotan on his sold-out European tour. He also played at the sold-out Dotan show in Doornroosje as the support act back in November. In May, he will have his first head-lining show in Nijmegen.
