Matteo Mancuso from Palermo is just 27 years old, but Steve Vai already named him “the future of the electric guitar”. Mancuso is a striking talent in the guitar world. At the age of 11, he was already playing jazz festivals. Ever since then, he has worked on and perfected his own unique style.
In numerous YouTube videos, Matteo Mancuso is demonstrating his unique style, which is a mixture of classical, flamenco, Django Reinhardt and fusion. In 2023, his first album came out, “The Journey”. On this record, he pays homage to his many influences. With his compositions and melodic solos, Mancuso presents himself as an intelligent and eccentric composer. Guitar fans from all over the world have been following Mancuso’s work closely; even renowned guitarist Al Di Meola has acknowledged his talent.
