The New York synth-wave trio Nation of Language is energetic and melancholy at the same time. They are inspired by band from early new wave, kraut rock and post-punk, but add a fresh perspective to it.
2021’s “Presence” was a terrific album by Nation of Language that was beloved by fans, and media alike. Stereogum called them “immediately addicting” and NME described their music as “most exciting music coming out of New York”. Our own 3VOOR12 even named it their Album of the Year!
