New Candys from Venice are known for their dynamic, sultry rock ‘n’ roll. Their sound is psychedelic, dark and loud. Combine that with the intriguing visuals and you’ve got a band that offers and extremely intense live show experience.
Their most recent album “Vyvyd” came out through the renowned Fuzz Club label. Their effects-layered fuzzy psych rock is combined with deafening shoegaze on this album. The laidback vocals and dreamy melodies are extremely catchy. The dark sound is rock solid, perfectly demonstrated by the song ‘Twin Mime’. The Italians are extremely effective in what they do. New Candys is highly recommended to fans of bands like The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
