NYVE is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter with a passion for writing songs on both guitar and piano. Inspired by artists like Lianne La Havas, Olivia Dean and Yebba, she combines elements of bossa nova, soul and jazz with pop, giving it a twist of her own.
She is currently working on her debut EP “Be My Own”, which focuses on loving yourself before you can love another. NYVE won Dutch competition De Kunstbende in 2023 and her first singles received airplay on Radio 2 and 3FM almost immediately.
At festival Noorderslag, she debuted with a show that was very well-received by 3VOOR12. She is hoping to play a lot of shows this year on Dutch stages and we are very happy to welcome her to Merleyn.
