British band Only The Poets is quite successful with their catchy pop rock. This year, the band scored a hit in the Dutch charts with their single ‘JUMP!’. The young quartet is quite prolific, having scored several hit singles since they started off and with an ever-growing live reputation.
Louis Tomlinson of One Direction was an instant fan and invited them along on tour. Ever since then the band has been making waves: hits like ‘Ceasefire Emotional’ and ‘Waking in the Dark’ have a huge mainstream appeal, yet still have an eccentric, playful edge that matches that of the best pop of the nineties and zeroes.
Only The Poets have an explosive, vital live show with songs that are instant earworms. And even if you don’t know all the songs yet: they suck you into their pure euphoria nonetheless. The band has yet to release their debut album, but are already a band with tons of attention. This Spring they already played a set in a sold-out Melkweg, followed by a terrific show on Pinkpop. So we’re expecting a spectacular performance in Doornroosje!
