Pearl Earl was founded in Denton, Texas by front woman, musician and songwriter Ariel Hartley (guitar, vocals) and drummer Bailey K. Chapman. The band is in a constant state of evolution and development ever since it had started as a bedroom project on Hartley’s laptop back when she was a student.
The prog and glam rock of Pearl Earl is enhanced with cosmic elements that sets them apart from other bands. Their live shows are entertaining and euphoric, with a menacing edge to it. In their own country, they have been making waves at festivals (like Levitation in Austin) since the end of the Pandemic. They were also support acts and special guests for bands like Osees, Black Angels, Allah La’s, Black Lips and Frankie and the Witch Fingers. Pearl Earl released their second album called “It’s Dread” in June. The album was produced by Tomas Dolas of Osees and came out through the Green Witch Recordings label.
