Peter Cat Recording Co.
Peter Cat Recording Co. was founded in New Delhi in 2010. The sound of the group evolved throughout their existence, moving from gypsy jazz to psychedelic cabaret, from ballroom waltzing to epic space disco and from bossa supernova to ‘uneasy listening’.
The popularity of Peter Cat Recording Co. expanded into other continents, so it is no longer ‘just’ a band from India. By expanding their audience to Europe and North and South America, they have become a staple for both Indian and international fans. Peter Cat Recording Co. consists of founder Suryakant Sawhney on guitar/vocals, Karan Singh on drums, Dhruv Bhola on bass/samples, Rohit Gupta on keys/trumpet and Kartik Sundareshan on guitar/trumpet.
