PM Warson
PM Warson is a young, promising soul singer from London. With his groovy retro sound, sultry guitar lines and even an organ, PM Warson often takes you on a trip back to the fifties and sixties.
His debut album “True Story” recently came out on the Go! Entertainment label, which is also the home to acts like Mama’s Gun and Young Gun Silver Fox. While the record is brand new, the songs sound as if they had been recorded sixty years ago in a dark and sweaty jazz club. On the album you can clearly hear that the Brit has had some quality influences, taking cues from for example Ray Charles, Booker T. and Amy Winehouse.
PM Warson, usually a one-man soul machine, will be accompanied with a full-sized band for this show in Merleyn; it’s one you can’t afford to miss as a soul fan! Highly recommended to fans of the James Hunter Six, Nick Waterhouse, St. Paul and the Broken Bones and Robert Finlay.
