Ghent trio Ramkot have found the perfect recipe to get people to headbang and dance at the same time. After two sold-out shows in Merleyn and Doornroosje’s small room, the band is returning to Nijmegen for a concert in the big room. Ramkot is highly recommended to fans of Queens of the Stone Age, The Raconteurs, Millionaire, Soulwax and STAKE.
In February 2023, their debut album “In Between Borderlines” came out. The band was awarded with Kink XL Track of the Week multiple times for ‘Red’, ‘Am I Alright Now’, and ‘One More’. They played terrific shows at Pinkpop, ESNS and a whole range of sold-out club shows throughout our country.
For the second album, which is expected at the end of the year, the trio Leyman-Leyman-Cuyvers have hired a well-known producer. With Alain Johannes (known for his work with Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal, Them Crooked Vultures), they went into the legendary Rancho De La Luna studio for three weeks. Not to worry though: they still sound very much like Ramkot.
