Chicago-based REZN combines heavy doom riffs with atmospheric psychedelic elements and influences from ambient. This is psychedelic doom metal in optima forma.
The REZN sound is instantly recognizable and is characterized by deep bass lines, sludgy grooves and ethereal vocals. Since their performance at Sonic Whip in 2019, the band has been touring a lot, which pays out during their exciting live shows. The four-piece band is extremely prolific as well, as since 2017 they have released five albums, of which “Burden” is the latest. Their majestic space riffs are highly recommended to fans of bands like Ufomammut, Elder, YOB, Monolord and Pallbearer.
