Rogê
After a successful show in PAAK last year October, the Brazilian artist Rogê is coming back to Nijmegen! This time for a show in Doornroosje. The Latin Grammy nominated artist and composer is part of the reason samba and Bossa nova are making a comeback in the Brazilian music scene.
In March 2023, his debut album “Curyman” came out, which is a cheerful and festive samba album with a message of liberation and resistance. Rogê represents a new generation of artists within the Brazilian music scene. At the end of 2024, “Curyman II” came out, which was a high-quality successor that may be even better than the debut record.
After an impressive performance in PAAK Vinylbar last year October and a summer show at Down the Rabbit Hole in July, we will see Rogê once more in Nijmegen in Doornroosje.
