Dark, mysterious, intimate: London quartet Sad Boys Club has been on the rise this year!
Sad Boys Club is one the most hyped bands in the London scene at the moment. Since 2021 they’ve had tons of airplay on BBC Radio 1 and 6 and they’ve been championed by DJs like Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq. In 2023 their debut “Lullabies From the Lightning Tree” will be released through the ModernSky label, which also has The Lathums and The Blinders on its roster. Sad Boys Club finds inspiration in the works of Death Cab For Cutie, but adds a twist of their own to the overall sound. This is going to be their first European tour, with Merleyn being one of their stops. It’s a great opportunity to see one of the must-see bands from the UK live scene!
