American band Saint Asonia was founded in 2015 when Adam Gontier left the band Three Days Grace. Together with Mike Mushok, who earned his wings with Staind, the band has recorded two albums so far. The rock band is one of big gestures.
On “Flawed Design” (2019) you can hear a sound somewhere in between Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Godsmack and latter-day Soundgarden. So, expect catchy heavy rock songs with terrific guitar riffs and very good dynamic vocals. Sharon den Adel from Within Temptation has a guest role in the song ‘Sirens’. Sully Erna of Godsmack and Keith Wallen of Breaking Benjamin are also guest vocalists on the album. All in all, this is a fantastic band with the potential to become a really big festival staple.
