Snõõper started off as a collaboration between Conor Cummins – a punk celebrity from Nashville – and Blair Tramel – a teacher with a side hustle in funny animations and art. When their cassette tapes and home-made videos started to find traction all over the world, and their self-released vinyl singles started selling out, the duo decided to go pro at the end of 2021 and Snõõper was born.
Snõõper went out on their first States-wide tour just a year ago, and rapidly turned into a ‘must see’ live band and fan favourite at festivals. Not only their live show is energetic, wild and eccentric, but Snõõper manages to make it even more special by including 8-bit visuals, paper mâché dolls, whistles and flashing lights. Snõõper released their official debut album in 2023 through Third Man Records, the label run by Jack White. Punk legend and poet Henry Rollins describes them as “a band that, in a 33-rpm world, is making 45-rpm music that they play at 78 rpm, yet it works gloriously.”
